Emily: A History

She was a quiet baby who didn’t do much besides be in hospital all the time and have weird looking white-blonde hair.
Although she had always known that ‘Emily’ was a common name, it was not until 2011, when she wikipedia’d it, that she found out it was in fact one of the most common girls name in western society.
She also found out, again via Wikipedia, that her name means ‘to rival’. Which she finds funny, seeing how pathetically small she is, and how her older brother is like, more than a foot taller than her. Seriously. Not even joking.
One time, in 2005, she won the award for best head-stander in the class. There wasn’t actually an award, but her teacher told her she was the best at doing head-stands. So that’s pretty much an award.
At this current moment in time, her hair is kind of a light-brown colour, that goes blondish in the sun, and she wears glasses all of the time - except from when she’s sleeping, because that would be weird.
She pretty much always wears trousers, because she’s a little insecure about her knobbly knees. Which, again, is funny, seeing how tight her trousers are. She might as well not bother.
In July 2011, she went and visted some family in Saskatoon, Canada, where she found a pair of snow-goggles that she grew very attached to. Although she could not take these snow-goggles back to England with her (they were not hers), she did manage to take a photograph of herself wearing them in her aunts bathroom:
