Now Now Every Children
Hi!!!!!!!!!! Okay so as you know, our new EP preordered a few weeks ago and sold out. As of last night, the tracks are complete and we have ordered the final pieces. All other inclusions are ready as well (i.e. the pictures, bracelets, buttons). MEANING that the EPs should be mailed out hopefully within the next week, two weeks latest! We will put the downloads up on BandCamp.com the day that we mail the EPs. There you can buy each track for like, a dollar or something. We’ll make a post with the details and a link for that when we know the exact day.

Thank you all for being so patient with us on this. It’s been rough this year, and we’ve been working with essentially no budget. It means a lot to us to see so many people excited for our music. We have some exciting plans in the works though, and hopefully we can let you all in on it later this year!

You know what sucks?
When you get a cold (in august, might I add) so you are going around looking for a packet of tissues. Your mum finds some under the stairs, and they’ve been there for god know how long. You take a tissue out to blow your nose (it took me 3 attempts to spell ‘nose’ - ‘knows’, ‘noes’), only to find that the tissues SMELL OF DUST. So every time you blow your nose, you SNEEZE.
MY GOD, WOMAN.

Ptosis Discrimination - TRUE STORY.
So today I went to a a checkup with my consultant, with my mum, to, y’know, check up on everything. Dr. Campell (her name) wanted to look in my eyes to have a look at my Fundi (?). She puts the torch right up to my eye to have a look (like ya do) and says:
“Oh come on, your eyes aren’t even open!”
“What? They are open!”
“Open them wider!”
My mum burst into hysterics and I said this was ‘ptosis discrimination’. She was like ‘eh?’. Apparently, even though she’s been my consultant for like, 5 years, she had no idea about the ptosis.
“Open them wider”. Some people.

So there I was, innocently watching Sherlock with my mother...
When, who do I see on the screen? Only Lauren Crace :D It’s like christmas, but better.
It’s so great to see her in something again :) Even if she was only in it for like, 6 minutes.
In other news, WE’RE GETTING KITTENS TODAY! So so so so happy :) But I hope that Rosie wont feel unloved, because I will still love her.
I’ve seriously lost my camera charger, guys.
I went to cornwall for 2 weeks and now I am back.
I had my haircut. I’m getting used to it. I might post a picture.
There are a lot of methodists in Flushing (where I was staying with my family). I find methodists scary.
I spent most of today in the car so that means I missed most of BRIGHTON PRIDE 2010. Which sucks so so badly. But I went and had food next door, so that was enough for me. I spotted 3 series of The L Word on their DVD shelf. Win.
Falmouth was… nice. It’s okay, but we also went to the Tate in St. Ives, and I have to say that I definitely prefer St. Ives.
When I was on holiday I did a bit of writing in the musical sense, and recorded 5 songs on my laptop that is going to turn hopefully into a free-download EP.
Out of the 5 songs I recorded, 4 of them are going on the EP (One was dropped cuz I didn’t like it). But because I dropped one, I’m probably going to record another song now at home, which will probably be a cover, but will be a sort of bonus track.
I’ll probably do a seperate blog post about this tomorrow or later, so watch out for it.
