Now, Now Every Children - Cars
I first heard Now, Now (then Now, Now Every Children) in the summer of 2009, hearing their song Cars (also album name) on their Myspace page (oh, the memories…)
It was love at first sight (sound?), and have since become one of my favourite bands (their long awaited second album has just been released and was well worth the 4 year wait.)
I was lucky enough to see NNEC live supporting Paramore on their winter 2009 tour, and I am still waiting for the day they come back to the UK to play their own headlining gigs.
This album is brilliant, and I am still in awe of Brad Hale’s drumming. Oh, and Cacie Dalagar is easily one of my favourite vocalists. Special shout-out to Jess Abbott, though, as this was before she joined the band.
Favourite tracks include We Know Martha Webber, Cars, and Little Brother. Although, to be honest, they’re all great.

Just hangin’ out with a stranger’s dog while the stranger was in a coffee shop. She refused to not be sitting in my lap. I wish there was a way to keep in contact with animals. We bonded and I miss her.

NEW SONG: Now, Now - “Wolf”
here’s a good quality version of Wolf!
| Jess: | ...there are two dudes watching us right now...A KITTEN! |
| Jess and Cacie: | * simultaneous gasping* |
| Jess: | OH MY GAAAWWWWDDD. |
| Cacie: | That kitten that kitten that kitten... |
| Jess: | Everyone should come on stickam with their kittens and and... |
| Cacie: | Can we have a kitty party... |
| Cacie and Jess: | YOU GUYS. |
| Cacie: | AN ANIMAL PARTY AN ANIMAL PARTY |
| Jess: | yeeeesssssss |
Jess: I don’t know how, but I keep ending up getting closer to that wall. I have no idea why.
Cacie: So, you hate standing next to me that much?
Jess: It’s cause you smell really bad.
